Yoga for Children - ages 6-12

Service Description

This Children’s Yoga class offered by Zentral Station is designed for children ages 6 and up. The multi-age class specializes in upbeat and fun music, mindfulness, movement, breathing techniques, games, yoga poses and stretching, and much more! Children will get the chance to move and play, as well as express themselves. This class also includes opportunities for social-emotional learning and traditional yoga methods to give children the tools to develop their own practice and guide them to mindfulness in their everyday lives. Janine is an RYT-200 that received her training at Mind the Mat Pilates and Yoga in Del Rey, Virginia from February through June 2014. She also received her Children’s Yoga teaching certificate from Kidding Around Yoga in January 2016. Janine is passionate about bringing yoga and mindfulness to people of all ages. She believes that the first step to learning how to best love and care for others is in learning how to best love and care about the Self.
